《人民日报》一九八六年十一月一日第一版上刊登的《杭州会议成灾游客住行困难》的消息和《我们在哪儿报到?》的漫画,构成了一块和谐的花边新闻。五栏篇幅中,三栏文字,两栏漫画,观诸各报,实为少见。笔者敬佩编辑在处理此类新闻时做到消息和漫画珠联,文字与形象同辉,从而使针砭时弊的效果更为强烈。时下,大凡风景优美处,会议也多。一是主办单位慷国家之慨,并袭用《孙子兵法》中所云“天时地利人和”之故;二是出席者推波助澜,向往有个“好去处”。于是,出席者从天南地北蜂拥而至,满载而归,其中大有公费旅游者在。对于这种现象,报纸理应旗帜鲜明地予以揭露,但如何收到更好的效果?《人民日报》进行了有益的
