The cover of a journal is the first thing a reader has come into contact with, and the extent to which it attracts attention and the presentation of information determines whether readers will pay for the journal. BusinessWeek is a very famous business magazine with a very distinctive cover. This thesis will interpret the cover design of BusinessWeek from a multimodal perspective and see how the cover designer realizes its design purpose by analyzing the graphic relationship among them.
