Since its introduction into China at the end of the 21st century, category management has attracted the attention of many retail enterprises. They have achieved good operating performance through continuous learning and application. Understanding, mastering and applying category management techniques will bring different retail management to retailers. This article analyzes the status quo of retail enterprises, the characteristics of category management and the reasons for the introduction of category management in the retail business. I hope that it can provide reference and inspiration for the category management of retail enterprises.
