随着市场经济的发展,农民直接参与市场竞争的程度在不断提高,随之而来的风险系数也在逐步加大,农民增收因此而遇到了新课题,广大农民迫切需要解决这种小生产和大市场的矛盾.海门市三厂镇镇西村适应形势,依托本村种植冬春茬果蔬大棚的农户,于2002年初成立了镇西村大棚蔬菜专业生产合作社(以下简称专业合作社).通过一段时间的运作,专业合作社充分发挥了助农增收的中介和纽带作用,架起了一座农民增收的桥梁.
