改革开放以来,党中央制定了以经济建设为中心的战略部署,国有企业焕发了生机,进入新一轮的快速发展阶段。在快速发展过程中,国有企业历经了几次变革、调整。政工队伍在过去的几十年中,为保证企业的政治方向做出了很大贡献,但在新的历史时期,企业面临的体制机制变化了,环境秩序变化了,如果政工队伍不在改革中与时俱进加强建设,适应新时期,把握新形势,面对新情况,解决新问题,就会滞后于经济建设的步伐,就不能保证国有企业按正确的方向发展,就不会为国有资产保值增值做出贡献,就不会巩固执政党的根基和地位。
