艺术院校中的英语教学普遍存在学生基础差、教学模式单一、学生学习兴趣不高、教学效果不好等情况。多元智能理论提出人具有八项基本智能,且个体的智能存在差异性,而艺术生的某些智能优势比较突出。因此在教学中我们要注重发掘艺术生的优势智能,以期寻找适合艺术生的教学模式和方法,提高艺术院校的英语教学质量。
The teaching of English in art colleges is generally based on poor student foundation, single teaching mode, low interest of students and poor teaching effect. Multivariate intelligence theory proposes that people have eight basic intelligences, and there is a difference in individual intelligence, while some intelligent advantages of art students are more prominent. Therefore, in teaching, we should pay attention to exploiting the superior intelligence of art students in order to find suitable teaching methods and methods for art students and improve the quality of English teaching in art colleges.
