舞蹈形体教学的本质和功能决定了它的美育性质,即:一方面契合了在校大学生追求时代美的精神意识,另一方面,它又在大学生认识美、创造美、欣赏美及展现美的过程中扮演着指导者的角色。同时,在舞蹈形体教育中蕴藏着浓郁的美学意义,为培养大学生良好的举止、修养和素质奠定了基础。因此,在高校教育中加入舞蹈形体课程不仅符合当前的社会发展趋势,而且有利于大学生身心的健康发展。
