Diffuse panbronchiolitis (DPB) is a disease characterized by chronic inflammation of bronchioles and terminal bronchioles. Most DPB cases have been found in Japan in the past three decades.1 We report the first typical DPB in the mainland of China diagnosed by open lung biopsy.
