利用抛丸器获得高速弹丸进行铸件清理、除锈、去氧化皮、强化工件表面的方法,在国内外得到广泛的应用。铸造行业中研制出各种形式的抛丸清理滚筒和抛丸清理室。1958年美国Pangborn公司开始采用了抛丸落砂设备,并于1970年发展到以同时完成铸件落砂、表面清理、砂再生和砂回收四道工序的“四合一”抛丸落砂清理设备,显著地提高了生产效率,改善劳动条件、降低铸件成本。抛丸设备已成为铸造车间(特别是铸钢车间)不可缺少的重要清理设备。所以抛丸清理工艺有广阔的发展前途,对它的研究有十分重要的意义。
