本文将系统剖析中国传统文化因素对大学英语口语课堂的影响,提炼口语焦虑的传统文化诱因,并总结降低传统文化负面影响从而控制焦虑的课堂策略。焦虑是口语发展的主要情感障碍,对口语习得有制约作用。以儒家文化为代表的传统文化蕴含的思维方式、行为准则潜在地影响口语习得,其中一些理念成为课堂焦虑的诱因,并阻碍了口语习得进程。教师在口语课堂上可系统运用教学策略从多个方面抑制传统文化因素导致的焦虑,使口语教学取得更好成效。
This article will systematically analyze the influence of traditional Chinese culture on college English oral classes, refine the traditional cultural inducement of oral anxiety, and summarize the classroom strategies of reducing anxiety by controlling the negative impact of traditional culture. Anxiety is a major emotional disorder in the development of spoken English and restricts the acquisition of spoken English. The Confucian culture, represented by traditional culture, implies ways of thinking and codes of conduct that potentially affect oral acquisition, some of which are incentives for classroom anxiety and impede the process of oral acquisition. Teachers can systematically apply teaching strategies in oral classes to restrain the anxiety caused by traditional cultural factors from many aspects and to make oral teaching more effective.
