Jamal Wilkes flat low-key style of play is not the fan favorite, but it does not hinder his greatness. When UCLA was in college, he was rated as the nation’s best player and twice in the NCAA Finals. In the 1975 NBA Finals, as a rookie, he helped the Warriors win the league’s only championship in team history. Later on at the Lakers, he was one of the key members of “Performance Time” to help the Bauhinia dynasty climb three times in the 1980s.
