Domestic violence,as a social problem,has existed for a long time in countries across the world.In China,domestic violence has gained the increasingly intense attention of the entire society since the Fourth World Conference on Women,which was held in Beijing in 1995.Prohibition of domestic violence is now stipulated in relevant laws.But in the absence of a law specifically designed to prevent and curb domestic violence,this social problem is far from being resolved.Instead,facts prove that it has gone from bad to worse.
