北京日报是我新闻生涯中工作时间最长的单位,从1957年末到“文革”中期下放农村。由于强调“工农兵办报”,要知识分子“臭老九”靠边站,我被迫含泪离开工作过十几年的北京日报。在北京日报,我一直在文艺部当编辑。那时首都文艺界的知名人士郭沫若、冰心、曹禺、夏衍、魏巍、荒煤、杨沫、草明、冯牧、曲波、浩然、张志民、李学鳌……等作家,梅兰芳、白杨、于洋、才旦卓玛、郭兰英、张瑞芳、崔嵬、于兰、秦怡、谢芳、赵燕侠、李忆兰、谢添、戴爱莲、刘淑芳……等表演艺术家,我都有过程度不同的接触和交往。我还负责编一个栏目“新潮浪花”,专门发表业余
