放弃WTI改用布伦特原油价格,看似EIA在市场充分竞争、供需所致等因素下为全球选择了新的预期主体,其实是在瞒天过海,另辟蹊径。它巩固了美国金融财团在国际石油市场上的话语权。2012年12月5日,美国能源信息署(EIA)发布了“2013年年度能源展望报告”。在油价预期一项中,首次放弃WTI原油价格,将北海布伦特(Brent)现货原油价格作为了预期主体(基准油)。
