去年初春,应澳大利亚西悉尼大学美术学院和堪培拉等大学及有关友好团体的邀请,我随肖峰院长和秦大虎教授赴澳洲进行友好访问。 此次访澳旨在谋求开拓对澳的友好联系、校际关系、学术交流和人员互访以及考察并了解澳大利亚美术教育和美术创作的现状和发展趋势。共参观了悉尼、墨尔本、堪培拉三个城市和西悉尼大学、悉尼大学、墨尔本大学、墨尔本皇家理工学院、堪培拉大学以及澳大利亚国立画廊、国立博物馆、悉尼洲立博物所、墨尔本澳华博物馆和澳大利亚国际广播电台、民族电视台、民族广播电台。此外,还走访和拜会了澳中友协、澳洲美协等友好人士和社团。在澳期间,作为学术交流的一个内容,举办了中国美术学院油画展,展出了肖峰、秦大虎二位教授的作品。中国驻墨尔本总领事邹明榕出席开幕式并致词,一些英文、华文报刊纷纷作了报道,反响很大。归国后,访澳情景萦绕于怀,感想颇多,应《新美术》之约,略记于后。 Last spring, at the invitation of Australia’s University of Western Sydney and Canberra and other friendly organizations, I went to Australia with Prof. Xiao Feng and Prof. Qin Dahu for a goodwill visit.
