Fetal cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection is the primary cause of congenital infection. Motherhood infection is usually asymptomatic, but 50% can pass through the placenta to the fetus. 90% of newborns are asymptomatic at birth and prenatal diagnosis is therefore very important. In this paper, 7 cases of primary CMV infection were prospectively studied, emphasizing the use of amniotic fluid culture to isolate the virus for prenatal diagnosis. From 1988 to 1990, 1771 pregnant women conducted a study on the risk of fetal CMV infection. 861 serological tests were negative (48.4%). Serum tests were performed on each prenatal examination and urinalysis was performed on urine, saliva, Cervical secretions for CMV examination, once found serological antibody conversion phenomenon, at 22 weeks pregnant to super
