外感病多由机体感受六淫病邪,或时行疫毒,正邪相争,引起机体脏腑功能失常而导致.芳香药是指中药中具有芳香特性的药物,如薄荷、藿香、豆豉、郁金、香薷等,或辛温解表,或辛凉甘润,因具有辟秽防疫、解表散邪、悦脾开胃、化湿祛浊、通窍止痛、行气活血、开窍醒神等功效,临床上常用于外感病的治疗.
