加快社区教育,是促进和谐社会建设的一项基础性工作,对于提高社区居民的思想道德素质、科学文化素质和健康素质,形成和谐的人际关系,化解社会矛盾,促进社会稳定具有十分重要的意义。社区教育的特点是全员、全程、全方位,它要求对社区内所有成员,下至婴儿,上至耄耋老人,各个年龄段的人开展教育。这些特点使得社区教育需求具有多样性,也对社区教育的师资队伍建设提出了挑战,而目前社医学校普遍存在着教师素质参差不齐、队伍缺乏管理、教学质量不高等诸多问题,难以适应社区居民日益增长的学习需求,在很大程度上制约了社区教育发展。本期“发展论坛”继续就社区学校教师队伍建设问题展开讨论——
