为了进一步加强和完善学校教学管理工作,提升管理服务水平,山西老年大学对教学管理体制进行了改革,全面实行了分系管理,即由原来的校、班两级管理转变为校、系、班三级管理,将开设的11个专业、28类课程、89个教学班,划分为书画、声乐戏曲、器乐、养生健身、综合应用、文史外语6大系。每个系聘请一名教学经验丰富的教师担任系主任,加强了学校的管理力量,提高了专业化管理水平。经过实践,在规范课堂教学、加强教学过程管理等方面都取得了一定成效。
