南岳衡山是我国五岳名山之一,历史悠久、人文荟萃、风光秀丽。近年来,到衡山的游客与日俱增。1995年,衡山高峰日的游客已达9万人次;同年,衡山的游客接待量突破了200万人次。是什么原因使这座千古名山的旅游业腾飞起来呢? 早在1979年,衡山经国家批准对外开放,成为“文革”后全国最早开放的地区之一。1982年,南岳被国务院审定为第一批国家级重点风景名胜区。国家所给予的这些政策,为衡山发展提供了优越的条件。与此同时,随着我国社会的稳定发展和人民生活水平的提高,衡山传统的香客市场逐渐得到恢复,同时还使它面临一个更富潜力的大众旅游市场。
Mountain Hengshan is one of the Five Famous Mountains in China, has a long history, cultural blend, beautiful scenery. In recent years, visitors to Hengshan have been increasing. In 1995, the peak day of Hengshan tourists has reached 90,000 passengers; the same year, Hengshan tourists exceeded 2 million. What made the tourism industry of this ancient famous mountain take off? As early as 1979, Hengshan was approved by the state to be open to the outside world and became one of the earliest open areas in the country after the “Cultural Revolution”. In 1982, Nanyue was approved by the State Council as the first batch of national key scenic spots. These policies given by the state provide excellent conditions for the development of Hengshan. At the same time, with the steady development of our society and the improvement of people’s living standards, Hengshan’s traditional pilgrim market has been gradually restored, at the same time, it has also been faced with a potential mass tourism market.
