本文以史蒂芬·桑德海姆音乐剧的表现主义特征为研究对象,通过对其代表作《伙伴》、《斯维尼·陶德》等剧目的案例分析,将其作品的表现主义归纳为内心活动的线索化和戏剧化以及类型化人物设置的三个特征,从而总结出其作品中的表现主义戏剧“倾向”对当时美国音乐剧所产生的重大意义。
Taking the expressionism features of Stephansundhamn’s musicals as the object of study, this essay summarizes the expressionism of his works as the heart activity through the case studies of his masterpieces Partners and Sveni Todd. Clues and dramatization, as well as the three characteristics of the typed characters to summarize the great significance of the expressionist drama “tendencies” in his works to the American musicals at that time.
