国际岩石力学学会主持的第四届岩石力学学术会议,于1979年9月1日至8日在瑞士召开。出席会议的有来自40个国家的约700名代表,他们分别属于矿山、水利、铁道、土建和工程地质等各专业的专家。我国由中国科学院组织了以陈宗基为团长的10人代表团参加会议。代表团成员包括科学院地质研究所、岩土力学所、冶金、煤炭、水利和建工各部门。中国金属学会派采矿学术委员会委员、长沙矿冶研究所付所长刘宝琛参加了会议。这次会议共收到学术论文210篇,分四个议题
The 4th International Conference on Rock Mechanics, hosted by the International Society of Rock Mechanics, was held in Switzerland from September 1 to 8, 1979. About 700 delegates from 40 countries attended the meeting, and they belonged to experts in various fields such as mining, water conservancy, railway, civil engineering and engineering geology respectively. Our delegation from the Chinese Academy of Sciences organized a 10-person delegation headed by Chen Zongji. The delegation members include the Institute of Geology, Geomechanics, Metallurgy, Coal, Water Conservancy and Construction. Chinese Institute of Metals mining academic committee, Changsha Institute of Mining and Metallurgy Director Liu Baochen attended the meeting. The conference received a total of 210 academic papers, divided into four topics
