“清查”一词,不论在英语(inventory)德语(inventur)还是俄语中都与商业“盘点”的含义相同。“连续”则是指一个时间概念,强调清查是“定期”和“不断”进行的。因此,森林资源连续清查从广义上讲就是每隔一定时间对森林资源进行“盘点”。以便了解森林资源的现状和间隔期内的变化,为分析全国森林资源动态,制定国家林业方针,开展林业经营利用活动,控制和指导全国林业发展,提供必要的基础数据。
The word “inventoried” has the same meaning as a commercial “inventory” in both inventory (inventur) and Russian. “Continuous” refers to a notion of time, emphasizing that inventories are conducted “on a regular basis” and “continuously”. Therefore, a continuous inventory of forest resources in a broad sense, is to inventory forest resources at regular intervals. So as to understand the status quo of forest resources and the changes within the interval, and provide necessary basic data for the purpose of analyzing the national forest resources dynamics, formulating national forestry policies, carrying out forestry management and utilization activities, controlling and guiding the development of forestry in China.
