英国作家爱尔德斯·赫胥黎曾经在小说《勇敢的新世界》中描绘了“一个技术完全占主导地位的未来社会”,“在这个即将到来的社会里,人类感到舒适,不知道贫困和痛苦;但同时也没有自由、美或者创造力,处处剥夺了人的独特生活方式。”(邹珊刚主编《技术与技术哲学》第30—31页,知识出版社1987年版)如其所言,人类目前已经处于高度技术化的生存状态中。一方面,技术给我们带来了充裕方便的物质生活,另一方面,技术又全面覆盖了我们的心灵,压缩甚至占领了我们的精神自由空间。对于技术化生存中人类精神生活的病状,现代学者多有深刻的揭示。例如,埃洛尔认为,“现代人的心理状态完全为技术的价值所支配,其目标仅仅是用通过技术而达到的进步和幸福来描绘的。”(同上,第32页)在尤纳斯看来,“这里所发生的变化,不仅是技术的进步,而且更重要的是人的自我理解,人对自己的生存目的的意识的变化。‘智慧人’变成了‘技术人’。”(殷登祥等主编《技术的社会形成》第517页,首都师范大学出版社2004年版)这也正如马尔库塞所说的,“在机械化奴役状态中”,机械“不仅支配他的身体,而且支配他的大脑甚至灵魂”。([美]赫伯特·马尔库塞《单向度的人》第126页,上海译文出版社1989年版)
In the novel The Brave New World, British writer Erld Huxley described “a future society in which technology is completely dominant.” “In this coming society, human beings feel comfortable and do not know about poverty And suffering; yet at the same time there is no freedom, beauty, or creativity that deprives people of their unique ways of life. ”(Zou Shangang, Philosophy and Philosophy of Technology, pp. 30-31, Knowledge Press, 1987) As it stands, It is already in a highly technical state of existence. On the one hand, technology has brought us ample and convenient material life. On the other hand, technology has fully covered our hearts and compressed or even occupied our spiritual free space. For the technical survival of human mental illness, modern scholars have more profound revelation. For example, Ehrl argues that “the state of mind of the modern man is wholly dominated by the value of technology and its goal is merely to portray progress and happiness through technology.” (Ibid., P. 32) It seems that “the changes that have taken place here are not only advances in technology, but more importantly, the changes in the self-understanding of man and the awareness of one’s own purpose of survival.” The wise man “has become a” technician. “” (Yin Dengxiang, eds., Social Formation of Technology, p. 517, Capital Normal University Press, 2004) And, as Marcuse said, “in mechanized slavery,” machinery “not only dominates his body but dominates His brain or even soul. ” ([United States] Herbert Marcuse “one-way man” p. 126, Shanghai Translation Publishing House 1989 edition)
