In October 1999, Shanghai conducted a survey of 18 demonstration companies that implement the national high-tech research and development plan (“863” program) CIMS project in the city. According to statistics, these model enterprises have increased production value by nearly 3 billion yuan due to the use of technologies such as CAD and CIMS. This not only strongly promoted the transformation of enterprises relying on high-tech to technological innovation, but also became a letter to Shanghai enterprises in an all-round way.
