柴达木、阿尔金山、塔里木三位一体为塔里木古地台的一部分。古元古—晚太古界经历了固流相—柔流相变形变质作用后形成变质杂岩(包括表壳岩和变质侵入岩),中新元古界为浅变质碎屑岩和碳酸盐岩。中—晚奥陶纪时,拉配泉—红柳沟东西一带拉张成裂谷带,后经闭合发展演化为构造岩浆活动带;祁曼塔格弧形构造带为台缘活动带。阿尔金山断裂带是青藏高原隆升应力消减的脆性表壳断裂带。
Qaidam, Altun, Tarim Trinity as part of the Tarim ancient platform. Paleoproterozoic metamorphic complex metamorphism (including surface rock and metamorphic intrusive rock) underwent the solid-phase-perididate metamorphism after Paleozoic-Late Archean metamorphic clastic rocks and carbonates rock. During the Middle-Late Ordovician period, the Lajuquan-Hongliugou area stretches into a rift zone and evolves into a tectonic magmatism zone through closure and development. The Qimen Tagu arc structure zone is a platform margin belt. The Altun fault zone is a brittle case fault zone where the uplift stress of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau decreases.
