人们常说,龙年多灾,蛇年多吉。说是这么说,未必有多少科学道理。2013年是农历癸巳年,就是蛇年,俗称“小龙”年。蛇在我国的十二生肖中排名第六位。全世界蛇类大约有2500多种,其中有650多种是毒蛇。海蛇全部是毒蛇。我国境内有蛇类174种,有毒的占48种,大部分集中在长江以南,北方各省也都有蛇的分布。蛇的样子不美,毒蛇咬人又常常致命,所以,提起蛇来,不少人既讨厌、又恐怖。其实,蛇不但有很高的经济利用价值和很高的药用价值,有的蛇还是人类的朋友。 It is often said that many years of plagues occurred in the year of the dragon.
