NEC第一个商用智能网(IN)系统已开发出来,并在新西兰投入运行。所开发的系统提供6种智能网业务,以支持贝尔通信研究所(Bellcore)定义的高级智能网(AIN)0号版本。该系统包括:业务控制点(SCP)和业务交换点(SSP)。SCP是控制业务和进行通信网数据库访问的集中式计算机节点;SSP是具有若干AIN业务附加软件功能的交换系统。SSP和SCP之间的通信通过现有的共路信令网,采用SS7的事务处理能力来实现。所开发的节点提供独立于业务的操作,具有可用于不同业务的公共接口。典型的业务按如下方式激活:SSP向SCP请求激活某业务;SCP执行数据库访问,然后请求SSP进行交换操作。SCP采用基于UNIX Ⅱ的平台,因此可以应用通用的软件工程技术。业务管理系统(SMS)提供用户友好的人机接口,以确保SCP数据库的安全和灵活的管理。
NEC’s first commercial intelligent network (IN) system was developed and put into operation in New Zealand. The system was developed to provide 6 kinds of intelligent network services to support the advanced intelligent network (AIN) 0 version defined by Bellcore. The system includes: Service Control Point (SCP) and Service Switching Point (SSP). The SCP is a centralized computer node that controls traffic and accesses the database of the communications network; the SSP is a switching system that has the additional software capabilities of several AIN services. The communication between the SSP and the SCP is through the existing common-route signaling network, using the transactional capabilities of SS7. The developed nodes provide business-independent operations with a common interface that can be used for different services. A typical service is activated as follows: The SSP requests activation of a service from the SCP; the SCP performs database access and then requests the SSP for an exchange operation. SCP uses a UNIX II based platform so that common software engineering techniques can be applied. The Business Management System (SMS) provides a user-friendly man-machine interface to ensure the security and agility of the SCP database.
