中国农科院文献信息中心,为了充分发挥到馆新书的作用,满足用户对情报信息求新、求快、求便的心理,于1987年11月开辟了新书阅览室。自开办以来,共展阅中文新书10050册,西文书6632册,俄文书1266册,日文书928册,共接待读者14674人次。我们对1991年8月展出的368册中文新书作了统计:一个月内读者浏览了264册次,占展出图书的71％;其中被读者复印、摘录及特殊需要借出的103册,占展出图书的28％。新书阅览室的开设,适应了读者快速查阅文献的要求。我们中心采购以农业科技、生物技术等方面的图书为主,我们的方法是:
Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences Document Information Center, in order to give full play to the role of a new book to meet the user intelligence information seeking new, faster, seeking convenience psychology, in November 1987 opened a new book reading room.
