报道了波长为792nm激光二极管端面抽运Tm,Ho:YLF连续激光器的双稳输出特性.激光晶体温度为283K时,双稳区的宽度为100mW,跃变点输出功率的跃变量为15mW.实验上还研究了晶体温度对2μm激光双稳特性的影响,当晶体温度从283K升高到298K时,双稳区的宽度由100mW减小到60mW,跃变点输出功率的跃变量由15mW下降到6mW.通过分析可知,Tm,Ho:YLF连续激光器的双稳输出是由能量转递上转换、激发态吸收以及激光下能级对2μm输出激光再吸收共同作用的结果.
The bistable output characteristics of a Tm, Ho: YLF continuous-wave laser with end-pumped laser diode with a wavelength of 792nm are reported. The bistable region has a width of 100mW at a laser crystal temperature of 283K and a jump of 15mW at a transition point The effect of crystal temperature on the bistability of 2μm laser was also studied. When the crystal temperature was increased from 283K to 298K, the width of the bistable region was reduced from 100mW to 60mW, and the jump of the output power at the transition point from 15mW to 6mW.Through analysis, it can be seen that the bistable output of the Tm, Ho: YLF continuous laser is caused by the energy transfer upconversion, the absorption of the excited state and the interaction between the laser level and the laser output of 2μm.
