Based on Wikipedia data, aiming at a kind of important and common online behavior - online collaborative writing, statistical analysis of time statistics and content update statistical analysis are carried out.The research on human behavior patterns online is a hot topic in human dynamics research in recent years. The results show that the online collaborative writing interval distribution is multi-scale. The time intervals of 1min to 30min and 30min to 24h are respectively subject to the power law distribution with exponents of 1.62 and 1.16 respectively, while the time interval of more than 24h follows the form of F (τ ) Ατ-b-alog (τ). The analysis shows that the continuous submission behavior and the interactive submission behavior lead to the multi-scale distribution of the time interval, in which the continuous submission behavior dominates the interval time distribution with power index 1.62 in 30 minutes , While the interactive submission behavior dominated the time interval distribution of power index of 1.16 in the range of 30 minutes to 24 hours.Furthermore, the authors found that reverse update is a ubiquitous phenomenon in collaborative writing process, and the relationship between the proportion of reverse update and the update amount It shows that there is a strong correlation between the update amount and the probability that the corresponding content will be retained and the probability that a large update amount will survive Metrics suggest that there are “watchdogs” and “war editors.” The findings of the article help to deepen our understanding of human behavior in general, and collaborative development in particular.
