Recently, the Korean television drama “You From the Stars” has swept the country and even became a topic during the two sessions, forming a unique cultural phenomenon. In contrast, there are few successful cultural exports in China. Culture is the banner of a nation and the foundation of a country based on the world. Electric power companies, as a public utility company related to the national economy and people’s livelihood, should use their own unique cultural genes to disseminate outstanding brand concepts, shape a good social image, and become a pioneer and model for cultural construction and cultural management. In recent years, the power companies have continued to explore on the road of corporate culture construction and have been actively practicing. They have achieved fruitful results and accumulated valuable experience. However, why is our corporate philosophy and values difficult to recognize and accept for the general public like Apple, Haier, and Huawei? Why?
