作者随机采集了年龄在28~38岁的5位健康女性和3位健康男性的外周血,作爆式红系形成单位(BFU-E)培养,并观察17-β雌二醇、黄体酮和前列腺素E_1(PGE_1)在体外对BFU-E 生长的影响。连续观察8周,发现女性外周血BFU-E 数变化大,而男性无显著变化;女性的差异与月经周期有关,月经周期开始时,BFU-E 数非常低,在第14天达高峰。BFU-E 培养的同时,作血清17-β雌二醇、黄体酮浓度检测,可见雌激素水平最高时BFU-E 数也最高,但血清激素水平与BFU-E 数无关。体外实验发现,17-β雌二醇
