光纤传输方式正在各个领域迅速实用化。其主要原因是,光缆具有绝缘性能好、损耗低、带宽宽、芯径小、重量轻等优点,而且高质量光纤大批量生产技术业已成熟,光缆敷设和连接等配合技术已十分完善。该论文旨在阐述能够大量生产高质量光纤的ST沉积法之要点、按此法制备的渐变型光纤诸特性,以及光缆敷设和连接技术,特别对光纤连接部加热模压增强法予以说明。此外,还阐述了用此法制备的光纤的一些应用实例。
Optical fiber transmission is rapidly practical in all fields. The main reason is that the optical fiber cable has the advantages of good insulation property, low loss, wide bandwidth, small core diameter and light weight, and the high-quality optical fiber mass production technology has matured. The optical cable laying and connection technology has been perfect. The purpose of this paper is to describe the key points of the ST deposition method that enables the mass production of high quality optical fibers, the characteristics of tapered optical fibers prepared by this method, and the fiber optic cable laying and connecting technology. In addition, some application examples of optical fibers prepared by this method are also described.
