马丁·马丽埃塔宇航公司根据高级战略空射导弹(ASALM)速度高,射程远的要求以及表面温度超过1100°F的特点,为了保证携带的燃料达最大值,采用了不用防热弹体结构的下颌式进气道整体式火箭/冲压式喷气发动机(图1)。本文就制造全INCONEL_(718)(镍铬铁合金)的燃油箱/亚音速进气道(参见原文图2)的成形、机加工以及热处理工艺(包括落锤成形、放电加工(EDM)、锻造、手工气体保护钨极弧焊以及普通的机加工)进行了论述并证明了INCONEL_(718)和706合金的可焊性和焊接效率。
