水凝胶是一种半固态的人造胶状物质,由亲水性聚合物高分子链构成,能吸收大量的水分。鉴于其独有的水溶性或亲水性特征,水凝胶成为模拟天然生物组织功能的最佳选择。因此,水凝胶也被广泛应用到了医疗领域,常作为人体组织工程学支架或药物传输系统被植入患者体内。不过,这些人造水凝胶物质也常会出现断裂或撕裂的情况,为患者的长期使用带来了不少困扰。
Hydrogel is a semi-solid artificial gelatinous substance, which is composed of hydrophilic polymer chains and can absorb a large amount of water. Due to its unique water-soluble or hydrophilic character, hydrogels are the best choice to mimic the function of natural biological tissues. As a result, hydrogels are also widely used in the medical field and are often implanted in patients as human tissue engineering scaffolds or drug delivery systems. However, these artificial hydrogel materials also often appear broken or torn, bringing a lot of trouble for the long-term use of the patient.
