Objective: To observe the effect of Scutellaria barbata polysaccharide on the changes of SGF, CDF and fracture healing during mandibular fracture healing in rabbits and to explore its mechanism. Methods: Thirty rabbits were divided into model control group, Scutellaria barbata polysaccharide group and osteopeptide treatment group in the left mandibular body. Ten rabbits in each group were sacrificed. After three days of modeling, Scutellaria barbata polysaccharide The daily dose of intraperitoneal injection was 150 mg / (kg · d) and the injection of bone peptide in treatment group was 25 mg / (kg · d). The levels of SGF and CDF in blood were detected at 1, 3 and 5 w Bone mineral density and immunohistochemistry were used to measure the bone morphogenetic protein-2 (BMP-2) content, and serum osteocalcin levels were measured. Results: The levels of SGF, CDF, BMD, BMP-2, and osteocalcin in the venous blood of the Scutellaria barbata polysaccharide group were higher than those of the model control group (P <0.01), the difference was significant. Conclusion: Scutellaria barbata polysaccharide can promote the healing process of rabbit mandibular fractures by adjusting SGF and CDF to increase BMP-2 and osteocalcin.
