浙江衢江两岸,分布着大面积,相对高度为几公尺至二、三十公尺的低丘红砂田.这些红砂田是由红砂岩发育而成的,土壤中细砂和粗砂含量很高,粘粒含量很低(10%左右).因此,土壤粘结性差,有机质分解快.有机、无机胶体贫乏,蓄水、保墒、保肥力都很弱,从而严重影响水稻的生长与发育.为了寻求解决这一问题的办法,我们在调查研究的基础上,于1978-1979年对红砂田水稻的灌溉方式进行了初步试验,取得了一定的结果,现整理于下.
