伴随着经济全球化的迅速发展而兴起的“反全球化”浪潮和发展中国家要求改变不合理的国际经济秩序的呼声表明，由发达国家强势资本主导的现存的国际经济制度是不可持续的国际制度安排，而国际经济组织作为国际制度的载体，实质上已经沦为强势资本的代言人，支撑着这种不公平的国际经济秩序。公正合理的新的国际经济秩序的建立必须有发展中国家的积极参与。而利用好外来的跨国公司并同时发展洲际合作性跨国公司，将是打破少数强势资本主导国际经济制度的有效途径。
