近年来译书的缺点,一是有些书译文质量低劣。还有一条容易忽略,就是有些翻译书的版权页上,不注明原文的书名、出版地点和出版时间,只印出了中文出版社的名称等有关资料。我专门为此翻检了近百种翻译书,有20种存在这个毛病,占了五分之一。虽然这个抽样的概率未必很准,但也在相当程度上说明问题的严重了。其实这个工作是很省事的。一般只要四五行字,但有的出版社就是不做。一本书都译出来了,为什么吝惜这点力气呢?觉得不重要,抑或还有其它什么原因?这里单就使用一途略加分析,来说明“不重要”的站不住脚。
Translation shortcomings in recent years, one is the poor quality of some books translation.
