传统文化和现代化的关系,是现代化变迁过程中反复出现的问题。近代以来,中国人对这个问题解决的两条思路,即“西体中用”和整体反传统主义都没有寻找到最佳的解决途径。本文认为,关键要把文化作为一个有机的功能体系,在现代化的运动中对传统文化加以重新解释和选择,进行价值转换和现代化处理,使传统文化不是游离于现代化运动之外,而是走进现代生活,融合到现代化的生活实践中,从而开掘出传统文化的现代生命。
The relationship between traditional culture and modernization is a recurring problem in the process of modernization. Since the modern times, the two Chinese ideas on how to solve this problem, that is, “the application of both the West and the West” and the overall anti-traditionalism, have not found the best solution. This paper argues that the key is to regard culture as an organic functional system, to reinterpret and choose traditional culture in the modernized movement, to transform and modernize the value so that the traditional culture is not separated from the modernized movement, but enters into Modern life, integrated into the practice of modern life, so as to dig out the modern life of traditional culture.
