连战率领的国民党大陆访问团和宋楚瑜率领的亲民党大陆访问团在大陆访问期间,向大陆有关单位赠送的礼品中均有台湾琉璃工艺品。台湾出生的赵美玲女士,在台湾从事琉璃工艺品研究、生产、营销工作。她的父亲是从山西太原到台湾的,他对家乡的热爱之情在女儿心中留下了深深的烙印。赵美玲女士带着全家来山西太原开办了翔鹤手工艺品公司,在大陆通过琉璃工艺品传送着友谊。
During the visit to China by the KMT-led mainland delegation headed by Lien Chan and the PFP People’s Party led by Soong Chu-yu, all the gifts presented to the mainland authorities included glass crafts in Taiwan. Ms. Zhao Meiling, born in Taiwan, is engaged in the research, production and marketing of glazed handicrafts in Taiwan. Her father was from Taiyuan, Shanxi Province to Taiwan. His love for his hometown has left a deep imprint in his daughter’s heart. Miss Zhao Meiling brought her family to Taiyuan, Shanxi Province to start her handicrafts company, Xianghe, where her friendship was conveyed through glass crafts.
