邵宝(1460—1527年),字国贤,号泉斋,别号二泉居士,江苏无锡人。以德行诗文著称,时人誉之“文与行皆脱凡格……为世儒硕”。其书名不显,故多为书法史所忽略。一般论及邵宝的书法,都以明代朱谋垔《续书史会要》中的评论为权威,即:“善行草,深得颜鲁公笔意。”虽点出了邵书之师承,但仅凭这语焉不详的寥寥数字,显然不足以引起后人对其书法的重视。更有甚者,对邵书轻视误解者亦大有人在:或认为其书乃阁臣书法、名人书法,在艺术上不足论;或认为其字丑怪粗糙,食古不化。邵宝书法果真不值一提吗?不然。邵宝是台阁体书法日趋衰落之时吴门书派兴盛繁荣之前,可与其师李
