通用设计思想的核心意旨是:所有的产品与环境的设计,应能使本产品或环境最大可能地便于所有人(包括残障人士)使用,而尽量不再需要使用过程中的调整或其他补充性的专门设计。我国高职教育正借鉴德国学习领域课程方案,设计开发课程,重构基于工作过程的课程体系。但我国现有高职院校课程体系和课程标准不统一,人才培养的规格不尽相同,这就提出统一高职专业课程体系与课程标准这一要求。通用设计思想在解决这些问题上有相当大的借鉴价值。
