在美国陆军武器装备中,迫击炮一直是一种重要的火力支援武器,不但装备数量可观,而且火炮和弹种还在不断推陈出新。与此同时,为适应数字化战场协同作战的需要,在迫击炮射击指挥系统方面的研究也在紧锣密鼓地进行着。据最新资料报道,美陆军第一骑兵师目前已经开始列装一种有望改善机械化迫击炮排的作战反应速度、打击精度及战场生存能力的新型数字化射击指挥系统。在无须士兵下车的情况下,这种M95/96型迫击炮射击指挥系统可使多达18辆装备120毫米追击炮的M1064迫击炮车与M577射击指挥车实现数据链接。从野外测试中得到的数据可知,联网炮车的首发射击时间不到1.5分
In the United States Army weapons and equipment, the mortar has always been an important firepower support weapon, not only a substantial number of equipment, and the artillery and bullets are still constantly evolving. At the same time, research on mortar firing command system is also being conducted in order to meet the need of collaborative battlefield in digital battlefield. According to the latest information, the first cavalry division of the U.S. Army has begun to install a new type of digital firing command system that is expected to improve the operational response speed, strike accuracy and battlefield survivability of mechanized mortar row. The M95 / 96 mortar firing command system enables up to 18 M1064 mortar vehicles with 120-mm ordnance to interface with the M577’s firing command vehicle without a soldier being dropped off.
