中国没有西方意义上的宗教哲学,但从社会功能的角度看,儒家哲学在很大程度上起到了宗教的作用。作为封建统治阶级意识形态的儒家哲学离开实际功效空谈修身养性,贬斥人的各种正当的物质要求,忽视科学、生产等问题的研究,宣扬释经注疏之风,这一切均与宗教不谋而合。扬弃儒家哲学,继承古代遗产,搞好今天的哲学教学与研究,应当注意这一点。
China does not have a religious philosophy in the Western sense, but from a social function point of view, Confucian philosophy has largely played a religious role. Confucian philosophy, as a feudal ruling class ideology, leaves aside the actual efficacy of discourse on self-cultivation, denigrating various legitimate material requirements of mankind, neglecting the study of science and production, and advocating the style of interpreting Buddhist scriptures, all in line with religion . We should pay attention to abandoning Confucianism, inheriting ancient heritage and doing a good job of teaching and researching philosophy today.
