Forest biomass harvested from six conifer species aged 12-22 years at several site levels in the United Kingdom was studied. The area of chest height, the number of standing trees and the level of harvest on each site were determined. A total of 12 dry-laid samples were collected to determine the total dry matter yield of the aerial parts and their components of the trunk, branches and leaves. Based on the linear regression equation of total biomass and its components and the area of the chest height of each tree, a single wood model was established for each site.
