中国近现代文化的变革是在西方文化的介入下产生的,美术也不例外。20世纪初期拉开了中国留学生出洋学习美术的帷幕。随着这批留学生陆续回国,改变了原有的中国美术的教育结构,这批人也成为传播西洋美术的主要力量。此后,直至20世纪80年代,美术界迎来新一轮的留学潮,与世纪初不同的是,这一轮留学潮以中国画家寻求国际主流画坛的承认为主。进入21世纪,美术学子的海外留学潮发生了新的变化,从此前的画家群慢慢转向美术史研究。各种留学基金的设立
The transformation of Chinese modern culture is produced under the intervention of Western culture, and art is no exception. The early 20th century opened the curtain of Chinese students studying abroad art.
