在我国当前的市场经济条件下,快速变化仍然是主要的特征。哪怕是传统艺术,如果不与市场相结合,也难免遇到发展困境。音乐及音乐教育亦是如此,必须随时应对变化,才不至于被变化所抛弃。因此,作为音乐教育、音乐文化,不仅要立足音乐本身,更要紧随大众和商业流行趋势,让音乐最终走进大众,走向市场。要解决这一问题,就需要从事音乐的人士,积极从音乐发展的大局入手,特别是音乐教育工作,应积极改革办学体制和教育管理体制,改革音乐教育结构,调整音乐教育培养目标,改革音乐教育内容和方法,树立起为社会主义市场经济培养音乐人才的观念,按照市场的需求培养合格的音乐人才。
