由广东省人大财经委、省法制局、省劳动厅联合举行的《广东省劳动监察条例》新闻发布会于9月24日,在广东省政府迎宾厅召开。新华社广东分社、省内各大报、电台电视台及本刊等共17家新闻单位的代表出席了会议,省委、省政府有关委办、省直有关厅局、省劳动厅各部门负责同志参加了会议。广东省人大常委会财经委员会副主任欧阳述乾、省法制局副局长梁光宜、省劳动厅党组副书记、副厅长甘兆炯出席会议并分别作了重要发言。新闻发布会由省劳动厅劳动监察处处长梁满光主持。
